Why did they not take it as their accomplishment?

Pride β€” keeps manifesting itself with acknowledgement.

What is wrong with enjoying it all as one’s own?

Learning goddess β€” walks out with a frown.

When given the due credit they deserve,

they distant themselves from spotlight to observe.

A mind that neither longs for applause nor for condemn,

humbly says a prayer in solemn.

Penance creeps and calms the prefrontal cortex,

you see through it all like slicing them with axes.

What do you do now? Gloat?

Oh be kind, we are all in the same boat.

Right place at the right time is the phrase,

just wait, calm that mind and be ready to embrace.

Writers who enjoy writing stories about literally anything that shows imagination. Stories that can support you in β€˜getting away from it all, and the stress of real-life.’ LGBTQ+ articles are welcome too here, as our aim is to promote mindfulness and banish the stigma.
